What is the difference between Screen & Recoating VS Sanding?
Screen & Recoating
Screen & Recoating is a much more cost effective way to remove the top coat of floor finish from your floors, which removes light scratches and imperfections.
It is also the best solution for refreshing your floors that have lost their sheen and no longer look appealing after years of wear and tear.
The recoating process provides two additional protective layers using a commercial-grade polyurethane.
You can choose from a Satin, Semi Gloss or a High Gloss finish.
A one day process, easy and convenient for a family home and your floors can be walked on in two hours after it is done.
Sanding
Sanding which is a much more expensive option removes all layers of floor finish leaving the raw wood.
It can take days to complete a full sanding job and a lot more dust is involved in the process.

CHOOSING YOUR FLOOR FINISH
Wheather you are deciding what floor finish to use after screening, or trying to determine which sheen is needed for a new fully sanded area. We will make our professional opinion be known, and help the client choose the right finish.
POST INSPECTION
After the job has been completed, we do a walk through with the client to make sure everything is perfect. We also discuss a maintenance floor plan to help assist with the Hardwood floors in the near future.
